Caring For Your Kitchen – Door Furniture
Follow our guide to caring for your door furniture and your kitchen will continue to look its best for years to come.
Please always use caution when cleaning your kitchen furniture. Test a small patch out of sight first before applying to a larger area. Refer to individual manufacturer instructions in the first instance as these may differ from the advice given below.
ALL DOOR RANGES
Dust with a soft cloth. For product cleaning use washing up liquid diluted in a bowl of water and wipe with a damp (not wet) cloth making sure no moisture gets into the profiles and finally drying with a soft clean cloth.
Cooking splashes should be wiped up immediately using a damp cloth.
Do not use wax furniture polish, solvent, dilutes, acetone, alcohol, bleach, chlorine based cleaners, abrasives or spray cleaners on the surface of the door.
HAND PAINTED FINISHES
In addition to the above, your hand painted kitchen will take 2 to 3 weeks for the finish to fully harden. Please treat it extra carefully during that process so as not to mark the finish.
STAINLESS STEEL
Dust with a soft cloth. For product cleaning use washing up liquid diluted in a bowl of water with a damp cloth and then dry with a soft clean cloth, or alternatively clean the surface with a stainless steel cleaner or E-cloth. A light coat of baby oil can be used to enhance the appearance if required.
Do not use bleach or other chlorine based cleaners, abrasives or cleaning material on the surface of the door.
