Our Company
Elements was established in 1995 by kitchen designer Michael Taplin and partner Sarah Dunkason. The company is founded on a determination to bring quality kitchens and design excellence to homeowners in and around Reading. Michael and Sarah built the business initially on recommendation alone and are proud to have gained thousands of satisfied clients alongside one of the most impressive kitchen showrooms in the South East. After dedicating over 25 years to upholding the highest standards, Elements is now one of Reading’s most highly regarded independent kitchen specialists. As an independent company, we are focused on providing the best experience and even better kitchens. Our wonderful Reading studio is the destination for kitchens. It features sixteen full-size displays alongside an extensive range of samples, appliances, accessories and more. It is the perfect place to discover the breadth of what’s available in modern kitchen design. Showcasing an elegant collection of charming, traditional and sleek contemporary designs from the industry’s leading British, German, and Italian kitchen manufacturers, visiting our showroom is an excellent way to find inspiration for your project. Our Workshop
Since initially opening a small workshop to build one-off, custom items, our premises have grown into a fully-fledged production facility. Our specialist craftspeople now produce a range of beautiful bespoke furniture to your exact specifications. There’s virtually no limit to the diversity of exceptional custom pieces we can create. As well as giving us fantastic design freedom, opening our own workshop allows us to control the quality of our work more effectively. We painstakingly assemble and thoroughly check every kitchen in our workshop before sending it out to your home. This ensures your kitchen reaches you in perfect condition, minimising any disruption, mess, or noise during the installation process.
